CORPORATE YOGA

Forrest Yoga

Internationally recognized pioneer in yoga and emotional healing, Ana Forrest created Forrest Yoga as an athletic practice with practical tools for self-development off the mat and into daily life. Instructors certified in Forrest Yoga create pose sequences in a way that will guide students to discover confidence and inspiration in the power of their own bodies. Students can expect to build strength and flexibility by working with targeted breath-work, longer pose holds, and core strengthening that increases energy levels and focus.

Restorative Yoga

Nurture. Rest. Restore. This slow paced yoga practice will create peace of mind and help heal and release the effects of chronic anxiety and stress. The use of props and long pose holds eases each student into deep relaxation of the body, mind, and spirit.  The class will start with gentle warm ups that move into supportive restorative poses that allow the body to renew and detoxify through deep twists, heart openers, and hip and low back stretches.

Vinyasa Flow

A mid-day break from a busy morning, our vinyasa flow class is designed to enhance daily productivity by giving the mind, body, and spirit a chance to realign and rejuvenate through breath-synchronized movement. Our instructors expertly guide students through an invigorating flow to create focus, better balance, increased strength, flexibility, and peace of mind. Students will leave the class ready to experience an amazing afternoon! Optional for morning and evening as well.

Chair Yoga

Chair yoga is a gentle form of yoga that can improve your strength, balance and flexibility. In this class you will practice yoga poses, breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation. Yoga poses will include standing, seated or prone postures. Chair yoga is ideal for the workplace in that it can be done without dressing down or with limited space and is appropriate for almost anyone. What is taught in chair yoga can easily be transferred to the workplace, contributing to a more balanced and energized body and mind.

Alignment Yoga

PILATES

Mat Pilates

Pilates is a training method that builds lean, toned, and well-balanced muscles to bring the body back into balance. With a focus on core strengthening and posture improvement, the practice promotes spinal and joint realignment, strength, agility, and flexibility. The practice will decrease the negative effects of sedentary work life and create an overall sense of health and increased focus.

Pilates Sculpt

Pilates Sculpt is an energizing total body workout that incorporates light resistance training into traditional Pilates exercises. This fun combination will sculpt the major muscle groups and strengthen the smaller joint stabilizing muscles, creating greater freedom of movement. The focus on core strengthening will improve employee posture and reduce pain associated with prolonged deskwork.

Yogalates

The best of both worlds, Yogalates is an upbeat class that combines yoga’s focus on slow controlled breathing and stretching with the core tightening and strengthening of Pilates. Students will see an improvement in posture, create longer, leaner muscles, increase balance and flexibility, then wind it all down with some relaxation to walk away refreshed.

MINDFULNESS

Mindfulness practice invites participants to use their focused attention to discover what is present moment to moment both inside and outside the body. In this one-hour guided session participants will explore mindfulness through meditation, gentle movement, discussion and instruction. Through these explorations, participants will discover thoughts, feelings and body sensations in a way that can increase awareness; this helps in the ability to make effective choices through day-to-day interactions, and may increase confidence when challenges arise. Each session will focus on a different aspect of experience to cultivate awareness around.
