“Mindfulness” is a word that seems to be on everyone’s lips these days, but what does it really mean to live a mindful life? While we may be aware of the numerous benefits of meditation — from decreased stress as well as a general sense of well-being — many of us find it difficult to start or maintain a consistent meditation practice.
In this series, employees explore the terrain of mindfulness, touching upon neuroscience, breathing techniques, and contemplative exercises that provide a deeper sense of well-being. Through experiential learning, discussion, and meditation practice, employees leave with a simple foundation for a home practice. They learn ways to bring calm alertness, balanced sensitivity and clarity of awareness into their everyday lives. Offered as a 4, 8, or 12-week series.
