Chair yoga can contribute to overall strength, balance, and flexibility, and is perfect for employees in home or corporate offices with limited space. Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a gentle, patient, and supportive practice that channels excess physical, mental and emotional energy through breath awareness and simple poses with prolonged holds to promote deep relaxation.

Hatha
Yoga

A slower-paced style of yoga that focuses on breath, posture, and alignment. Emphasizing long-held poses, hatha yoga classes will help employees to learn to balance strength and stability with flexibility in body and mind. This style of yoga is great for beginners as well as employees with some yoga experience.

Yin Yoga

A passive yoga practice is done mostly seated or lying down where employees hold stretch postures for 3-5 minutes at a time. Yin yoga targets the deeper connective tissues of your body, increasing range of motion and mobility. Employees will have the option to use household items as props to aid in their experience. Yin yoga is a very slow and quiet practice, and an important balance to an amplified, fast-paced lifestyle.

Accessible Yoga for Everyone

An all-levels active yoga class taught at a slow pace with lots of variations given so everyone can join. Employees may use household items as props that support their bodies as they move through stretching, strengthening, and relaxation. This class is typically chair-based, but may also be done without.

Yoga Nidra

An ancient meditation practice that uses a systematic body scan technique to activate the relaxation response for better sleep. Yoga Nidra has become increasingly popular in a variety of nontraditional settings, such as military bases and hospitals, and is recognized as an effective tool for emotional regulation and anxiety management. Endorsed a complementary alternative medicine (CAM) for chronic pain in 2010, it is an accessible practice that can be done either lying down or seated.

Liberate the Spine

Inspired by movements from the GYROTONIC ® method, Pilates, and yoga, this class focuses on spinal articulation and joint mobility specific paired with specific breath techniques that help to liberate the spine. These movements help to unblock stagnant areas and stimulate core activation, resulting in some much-needed length in the muscles and increased space between the vertebrae. Exercises will be done sitting on a stool or chair, standing up, and lying down.

MOVEMENT

HIIT Training

HIIT (high-intensity interval training) incorporates intense periods of work with short recovery segments, allowing employees to maintain workout intensity without sacrificing form. Intense circuits also stimulate muscle-building hormones, putting the body in a perfect state to build lean mass. This type of training develops the cardiovascular system and strengthens the heart. By pushing the heart rate high during the active intervals, employees increase their cardiovascular capability, supporting faster recovery in future workout sessions.

Ellové Technique®

The Ellové Technique® is a non-impact conditioning class. It’s designed to strengthen and rejuvenate the body through the pure techniques of ballet, yoga, fitness, and Pilates. Moving through an intentional playlist of music, the class seamlessly incorporates alignment principles, balance, and full body awareness while focusing on the breath.

Employees leave Ellové feeling stronger, longer, and more connected to their bodies. The Ellové Technique’s use of therapeutic principles improves posture, balance, strength, and flexibility.

This Pilates format includes a series of low-impact floor exercises that help to build, sculpt, and tone the muscles. A regular Pilates practice can improve flexibility, core strength, and overall posture.

Sculpt

Barre work without the bar! This class incorporates a mix of postural-based movement, combos and pulses to create different challenges for each muscle group. Zumba®

 Zumba® 

Zumba is a high-energy, total body dance fitness class set to Latin and other international music that’s designed to get employees moving, sweating, and having fun. Through a mix of both low-intensity and high-intensity moves, Zumba combines all elements of fitness including cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility into a creative interval-style workout. This class provides employees with a chance to build community and connect with their co-workers in a feel-good environment. Employees are sure to leave class feeling invigorated, energized, and ready to take on the rest of their day. 

Zumba ® Toning

This fun variation on the popular Zumba dance workout puts extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define the muscles. Add resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks or light weights brings the focus to specific muscle groups so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!

SPRK®

Weight training doesn’t have to be boring! This fun, heart-pumping, combo of cardio and strength training is our version a strength and conditioning class taken up a notch. SPRK is a beat-driven experience that is set to music, yet not highly choreographed. The class is divided into three sections – Strength, Power + Recovery – designed to provide employees with a full body workout that “sparks” their inner power and leaves them feeling energized.

T’ai Chi

The practice of Taijiquan (T’ai Chi Ch’uan), commonly referred to as Taiji (T’ai Chi) translates as “great ultimate boxing” or “supreme ultimate fist”. It is a Chinese discipline that while strongly rooted in the martial arts, is mostly practiced today as a moving meditation. There are many different forms of Taijiquan, most of which are characterized by slow, continuous choreography with martial applications. Through keen awareness of breath and motion, Taijiquan creates an alert and relaxed state of being that puts the mind and body in perfect unison.

Qigong

Developed and refined over thousands of years, Qigong is an ancient Chinese healing art that cultivates and balances the flow of energy or “Qi” in our bodies. Qigong translates as “energy discipline” and is a system of gentle, graceful movements practiced with mindfulness toward alignment, deep breath cycles and a calm, meditative state of mental relaxation. It is sometimes referred to as Daoyin or Chinese yoga and is the movement practice that eventually gave rise to Taijiquan (T’ai Chi).

With roots in Chinese Medicine and Daoist philosophy, Qigong is a deep and engaging way to release stagnant energy, build physical strength, diminish stress, and balance emotional life, ultimately creating a more meaningful connection to ourselves and the world around us. While most of the session is done standing, all energy work can be modified to a seated or reclined position to accommodate injuries or health concerns.

Mindfulness Talks & Meditation

“Mindfulness” is a word on everyone’s lips these days, but what does it really mean to live a mindful life? While we may be aware of the numerous benefits of meditation, many find it difficult to start or maintain a consistent meditation practice. In this class, employees explore the terrain of mindfulness, touching upon neuroscience, breathing techniques, and contemplative exercises that provide a deeper sense of well-being. Through experiential learning, discussion, and meditation practice, employees leave with a simple foundation for a home practice. They learn techniques that bring calm alertness, balanced sensitivity, and clarity of awareness into their everyday lives.

We’ve all tried willpower and accountability to overcome procrastination, but these interventions rarely work. A little-known fact about procrastination is that it is the symptom of a larger problem, not the problem itself. Once we understand the underlying and cyclical process that generates procrastination, we can begin to undermine it – and we can do this without shame, judgment, or forcing ourselves to do anything. Procrastination is NOT a personality defect!

Establishing a Budget You Can Keep

The perfect budget helps us do three things: be more aware of spending, plan for the future, and prevent and recover from emergencies. The perfect budget doesn’t require you to read a book, buy a kit, or spend hours each month on a spreadsheet. You already have everything you need to begin creating your perfect budget!

Employees will come away with a game to begin the process of creating their own money system (budget), along with a low-stress perspective on budgeting. It is not necessary for employees to have financial information on hand for this class.

If telling ourselves “I really need to stick to my budget”, or “I should start saving” were enough, we would all be perfectly productive, responsible, and accountable to ourselves and those around us. So, what are we missing about accountability in our financial lives? It turns out it’s not about consequences, rewards, willpower, shame, or obligation. Becoming more accountable is about making microscopically small changes to our mindsets and perspectives.

Employees will come away with an understanding of how accountability is deeply engrained in us and why we rebel against it without knowing. They’ll also receive two tools they can use immediately to circumvent thoughts like “I have to…” and “I don’t want to, but I need to” and still get things done!
